Back on Track Teens director TeeJay Dowe was delighted to attend the First Tech Challenge UK & Ireland last month.

The event at RAF Cosford Air Museum saw teams from 24 schools design, build and program robots to compete for a place at the national finals.

As a judge, at the event on 28th March 2023, TeeJay was able to see the teams showcase teamwork, innovation, resilience, determination, attention to detail, gracious professionalism, and enthusiasm.

TeeJay said: “They all made the judging decisions very difficult! And I am so pleased I got to meet countless amazing and talented young people during this process.”

Feeding back First Tech Challenge UK & Ireland said: “You were an amazing Judge Advisor. Thank you for leading our team of judges through the process of awarding these epic teams for their fantastic work this season! We are looking forward to having you back at the Championship in June!”
